KDC China is a division of KDC & Associates, Ltd. which is a senior management consulting firm focusing on smaller or mid-sized manufacturing, fabrication, processing, services or distribution companies. The firm specializes in privately held companies with annual sales up to $100 Million experiencing performance or competitiveness challenges or entering a crisis stage.

KDC difference is the principals’ many years of successful senior management of smaller companies through extraordinarily difficult operating environments in the world’s most highly competitive and volatile industries. These efforts have included complete turnaround and renewal, joint ventures, outsourcing an insourcing, top line rebuilding, recapitalizations, and effective exit strategies.

KDC China, unlike China services from others, is oriented and dedicated to the success of the North American client. KDC has no economic affiliation with any Chinese source or government agency. Our goal is to assist the client in achieving the quickest and most satisfactory results in any Chinese relationship.

KDC China is led by Bill Barron, a founding principal. Mr. Barron has over 15 years of senior level operating experience in China, including building successful manufacturing and marketing infrastructures for the China market. Bill has developed extensive contacts throughout China that greatly ease the complexities inherent in operating in that country. Further, Mr. Barron understands and has deep experience with the fundamental drivers of a successful China venture, from sourcing to building a wholly owned operation.

KDC principal Richard Kallage has over twenty years of experience leading smaller and mid-sized manufacturing companies in highly competitive environments, including the automotive and technology industries. Dick has extensive experience in competing with Asian suppliers, developing and operating joint ventures with Asian companies, and constructing successful operating models involving international partners.

KDC principal Patric Donahue has many successful years of experience in operational finance and accounting as CFO and controller. Pat has developed methods that de-mystify build vs. source decisions and provide sound, useable operating metrics that underpin successful international collaborations.

KDC & Associates, Ltd. in the US have deep experience in production planning, logistics and source management.

KDC affiliates in Hong Kong and Shanghai are sourcing and relationship professionals with years of experience in dealing with the special nature of Chinese business. They are Chinese nationals with long relationships with KDC principals. They provide KDC and its clients valuable “on-the-ground” operations support. They are independent of any Chinese company or government agency.
